Lexington FBC was established in 1933 by as small group of local men and women who felt the call of God  to start a church within the area that would honor the Lord and reach out to the community.  Since then LFBC has grown, not only in numbers but together as a family.  We at LFBC believe:

1. That the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is the record of God's revelation of Himself to man.

2. We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit existing as three persons, and yet are still One.

3. We believe that the Lord Jesus, the eternal and only begotten Son of God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, became man, without ceasing to be God (Philippians 2:5-8).

4. We believe all men are sinners (Romans 3:10,23) and in need of the saving work provided by Jesus on the cross.
